THE 10 PIECE WORK TRIP CAPSULE TO FIT A CARRY ON

That is "carry on" as in a bag that can be tiny enough to be stuffed into one of those impossible bag sizing boxes by the Airline Gestapo at check in. Not "carry on" as in "it's a total carry on, these charges for being overweight". Well clearly it's a bit of both!
I asked my lovely followers for content suggestions and my beautiful client asked for this one, so here you are my love. Your ultimate guide to packing light - the 10 piece carry-on bag friendly capsule wardrobe suitable for a short trip to a casual work environment. This is what I would suggest you cram (pack neatly) into an airline friendly place-under-the seat-in-front bag, and I have even found the bag for you!
10 IS THE MAGIC NUMBER
For a trip of up to about 3 days, you should be able to manage with 10 pieces. I appreciate for many of you that sounds a bit light, don't drop your coffee mug in shock, we've got this! In my experience packing a range of separates can create way more outfits than you would think! Accessories for this are key, lightweight doesn't mean then can't pack a style punch! For such a short trip I have included shoes in the 10 but you might want to exclude them, I just feel when the bag is so small it's not needed. However accessories aren't included.
HAVE A COLOUR THEME
When selecting the 10 items you would pack, try to think of a colour theme. This lessens the need for a different shoe for each look.
BUT IS IT WORKWEAR?
Well is it? Post COVID almost anything is work wear unless you can see up it, through it or down it. Denim and trainers are now super work appropriate and can be dressed up or down for the office. Easy!
So here are my 10, pieces plus accessories and a few different ways to wear them. Let me know what you think. All items are linked. I leaned in hard on Mango for this one as it's fantastic at the moment and a huge new one has opened in Glasgow so it was so easy to see the quality of the pieces. I love the versatility of separates and I think a white linen suit is a great investment, you can wear both pieces in so many ways to pretty much any occasion! The brown linen skirt is to die for, skirts are still huge this summer. I have gone for a kitten heel sandal but you could just as easily substitute this for a chunky flat, again Mango have tons. I kind of built the whole blog around my trainers which I absolutely love and wear all the time!
